My great grandmother started Springer Fashion Uniforms in Washington D.C. in the late 1940's and it quickly grew to encompass several retail store locations. Her son, my grandfather, took over the business and they ran the company together, expanding it to Maryland, until she retired in her late 70's. My grandfather continued the family tradition teaching his son, my father, the ropes of the business.  They worked together at various Springer locations in the D.C. area for over 20 years. In 1994 my father took ownership of the company and started this Internet portion of the business which became SpringerCo.com.

My father, Steve Springer, passed away from Leukemia in 2003. He is missed very much by a large number of family members and friends.

During the past few years I have had the pleasure of meeting many of our customers personally and I will continue to do everything within my power to serve you as well as my father did.
